How to Import Bookmarks in Firefox

After downloading your bookmarks HTML file from Bookmark Forge, follow these steps to import it into Mozilla Firefox.

Step-by-Step Instructions

Open Firefox and press Ctrl+Shift+O (Windows/Linux) or ⌘+Shift+O (Mac) to open the Library
Alternatively, click the hamburger menu (☰) → Bookmarks → Manage Bookmarks
In the Library window, click Import and Backup in the toolbar
Select Import Bookmarks from HTML...
Navigate to your downloaded bookmarks.html file and select it
Click Open — your bookmarks will be imported into the Bookmarks Menu

Tips

Access bookmarks quickly with Ctrl+B (Windows/Linux) or ⌘+B (Mac) to open the sidebar
Imported bookmarks appear in the Bookmarks Menu folder — you can reorganize them from the Library
Firefox also supports importing from other browsers via Import and Backup → Import Data from Another Browser
